How to make Strawberry jam at home.

Here is an easy recipe to make strawberry jam without any preservatives using three simple ingredients.

Ingredients: 500gms of strawberries (hulled and washed)
350gms of sugar 
2 tablespoon lemon juice 

steps to make it:

The first step is to wash and hull the strawberries.

now cut them into medium to small pieces and add sugar into it.







now place this mixture into a large container and heat over low flame until the sugar melts.


now add the lemon juice into this mixture and keep stirring until the jam is ready. the best way to check the consistency is by doing a test called sheeting test: take the jam in the spoon and allow it to fall. if the jam falls in the form of a sheet, it is done and ready to be bottled.



it takes about 20 mins to cook the jam.
